About Me
I grew up in Sweden but have lived in Kirkland for over 25 years, raising my children here.

Working as a sports photographer, I get to capture the Seattle Mariners and other teams in action and I absolutely love it!

When I'm not on the field, I create beautiful portraits for families, high school seniors, working professionals, and anyone else who needs a great photo.

I especially enjoy personal branding sessions, where I can be creative and bring out my subject's personality in a professional and fun way. Making them look their best in every photograph is my goal.

It's incredibly rewarding to know that my photographs help people achieve their professional and personal goals, and that families will treasure the portraits I create for generations to come.
My Studio
My studio is located in the Bridle Trails neighborhood in Kirkland, WA, and I mainly serve the Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, and Seattle area. However, I will travel for photography work anywhere in the greater Pacific Northwest and beyond.

I love being creative with lights and combining studio lights with ambient light to create visually appealing images. I use Profoto studio lights and Nikon cameras and lenses. I also have portable studio lights and some cool light modifiers such as a 7-foot parabolic Profoto umbrella that puts out truly magical light. If you've seen an image you want to recreate, I am game!
Formal Training
I learned professional photography and studio lighting techniques at the Photographic Center Northwest in Seattle over two decades ago. However, even before attending PCNW I worked as a wedding photographer's assistant in Sweden.

Previously I worked many years in the gaming industry where I did a lot of Photoshop work and learned many workflow skills that come in handy when processing and fine tuning my photography work and preparing photos for fine art printing.
Tutoring, Mentoring and Classes/Summer Camps
I love sharing my photography and Photoshop knowledge with anyone who wants to learn. I studied pedagogy in college, and students say I'm good at explaining things. This summer I am offering week-long Photography Summer Camps for 10-13 year olds at my studio, the week of July 12-16, and July 26-30. Contact me to find out more.
